Voter Registration Drive in Gatanga 2025

Every great change begins with a single step, and for us in Gatanga Constituency, that step is registering as voters. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has rolled out a mass voter registration exercise, and this is our moment to stand up and be counted.

Why It Matters

Your vote is not just a mark on the ballot paper — it is your voice, your power, and your future. Without it, you surrender your right to choose the leaders who shape our community’s development, our children’s opportunities, and the direction of our beloved Kenya. As Hon. Wakili Edward Muriu, our Member of Parliament for Gatanga, reminds us: “Kura Yako Ni Sauti Yako.”

Who Needs to Take Action?

  • First-time Voters: If you’ve just turned 18 or have never voted before, this is your chance to step into the arena of change.

  • Those Who Have Moved: If you’ve relocated, ensure your vote counts where you live by transferring your registration.

  • Anyone with Errors: Mistakes in your details? Correct them now and avoid frustrations on election day.

Where to Register

Registration is happening at the IEBC Offices in Kirwara Market, opposite Kirwara Police Station. Don’t put it off — the earlier you act, the better.

The Call to Gatanga

The time is now, Gatanga! Let’s rise together and make sure every eligible voter is registered. Remind your friends, family, and neighbors — no one should be left behind. Our unity and participation today will secure a brighter tomorrow.

Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Let’s show up, register, and be ready to make history.

A Message from Hon. Edward Muriu

“My dear people of Gatanga, our destiny is in our hands. Each vote is a voice, and together our voices can shape a better future for our children and generations to come. I urge you — register today, encourage your neighbor, and let us all be ready to speak loudly and clearly through the ballot. Kura Yako Ni Sauti Yako.”
