Yesterday, Uncle Sam was at State House, Nairobi, where he joined other Mount Kenya leaders in a high-level meeting with President William Ruto. During the engagement, he successfully lobbied for key infrastructure projects that are set to transform Gatanga’s road network and boost connectivity.
Roads Projects Coming to Gatanga
Uncle Sam revealed that the following roads were approved for construction:
-
Ndiara – Wanduhi Road
 -
Kirwara – Kigio Road
 -
Ndunyu Chege – Kahunyo – Chomo Road

These projects will begin soon, bringing long-awaited relief to thousands of residents who have suffered for years due to poor roads. Improved roads will not only ease transport but also open up economic opportunities across the constituency.
Focus on Electricity Connections
In addition to roads, Uncle Sam also pushed for more electricity connections in Gatanga. Expanding access to power is expected to support businesses, improve education, and enhance the quality of life for families.
Why Uncle Sam Remains a Favorite
Uncle Sam’s consistent commitment to lobbying for development places him ahead of the curve as the 2027 election approaches. His philosophy is simple yet powerful: “Let us work with what we have in order to achieve what we don’t have.”
Unlike many politicians who focus only on criticism, Uncle Sam has embraced collaboration with the government of the day to deliver real results. This pragmatic approach resonates with voters who want leaders that can bring tangible change.
A Rising Force in Gatanga Politics
Uncle Sam came second in the 2022 elections, narrowly losing to Wakili Muriu. Many observers believe that his growing influence, strong grassroots support, and ability to secure development projects will make him the frontrunner in 2027.
His latest success at State House reinforces his image as a leader who not only listens but also acts. Gatanga residents are now looking at Uncle Sam as the man who can finally deliver the infrastructure and services they deserve.
